There are many theories floating around in regards to genetics and how you follow your parents. Some say that you are born the same as everyone else in mentality and it is your upbringing that dictates what you become. Others say that your traits are inherited from your father. Then you have the extreme compromisers which say that both are valid points but odds are you have a higher chance of possessing traits your parents had but upbringing affects it too. I also once heard that a child will always turn out in such a way that they will annoy their parents.
If you do take after your parents then what do you do if they turn out as failures? What if they turn out as tragic heroes which have a brilliant life and then hit rock bottom before their time is up? what if you knew you were going to inherit this?
Wouldn't that suck.
But then again, if you're set on not getting one flaw, odds are you'll just end up with another just as bad. Such as paranoia.
